While it is important to choose the right skip bin size for your job, it is equally important to know what you can and can’t put in our skip bins. The information below is a guide of items that are allowed (and disallowed) in our bins. If you are unsure if certain items are allowed in our bins, please contact us before booking. Please note that Weight Allowances Apply to ALL Bins, please see the Bin Sizes page for the allowable weight for each bin size.
General Waste
General Waste refers to most products around the home or business that are considered rubbish.
This includes items such as:
- Electrical or white goods
- Toys & clothes
- Hand or power-tools
- Bric-a-brac
- Cabinets
- Cardboard, plastic or steel waste
- Unwanted household items
Green Waste
Green waste is made up of general garden waste.
This includes items such as:
- Grass
- Weeds
- Leaves
- Flowers
* Excludes soil
Straight Heavy Waste
Straight Heavy Waste is comprised of a single item listed below and can only be loaded into our 2 & 6 cubic metre skip bins.
This includes items such as:
- Soil
- Concrete
- Combination of Bricks & Concrete

- Putrescible waste (food waste etc)
- Asbestos
- Hazardous materials
- Liquids and oils
- Paint (dry paint is acceptable)
- Chemicals
- Gas bottles
